#NbAChallenge Day 1

This week, in the occasion of National Health Week, we challenge YOU to do one healthy thing with us every day. 

Finally the challenge starts! Welcome to DAY 1 :D

TODAYS CHALLENGE: do 20 squats! 

How:

If you´re not used to doing squats you can break it up and do 5 reps * 4 times, or 10 reps * 2 times. If you do squats all the time and this is easy breezy; try to set a new record in how many repetitions you can do! Here´s an illustration of how it´s done:

Why:

Squats are known as one of the best strength exercises, and for good reason! When doing squats you´re using the largest muscle groups in your body. By activating more and larger muscles your heart rate goes up significantly, and this helps you to burn more calories. Beyond that it´s incredibly important with good basic strength in you legs and lower seat.  

Tip; by holding your arms over your head your heart rate goes up even more!
